From my decade in the Air Force to my daily work with local entrepreneurs, I’ve seen what happens when people have the support they need to succeed. I’m running for the State Senate to be a champion for the families and retirees of this region who deserve a leader as dedicated to our communities as they are.

He served ten years in the U.S. Air Force, including work as a Cryptologic Language Analyst in the Intelligence Community and later as the Air Force Recruiter for Central Maine. Today, Moore serves as the Director of Entrepreneurship at Main Street Skowhegan, where he manages the local business ecosystem and spearheads redevelopment projects aimed at revitalizing the regional economy.Moore holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, as well as a Master's in Food Business from the Culinary Institute of America. He lives in Waterville with his dog, Barkley.

1. Housing Supply &amp; Smart Growth We need to build more housing—plain and simple. I support practical, community-driven solutions that make it easier to create new homes, reuse underutilized buildings, and encourage responsible development that fits the character of our towns.2. Workforce &amp; Local Housing Our workforce should be able to live in the communities they serve. I will advocate for policies that support attainable housing for working families, ensuring teachers, healthcare workers, and small business employees aren’t priced out of our region.3. Revitalizing Existing Spaces Many of our communities have vacant or underused properties with untapped potential. I want to incentivize the redevelopment of these spaces into quality housing, breathing new life into our downtowns while expanding housing options.4. Balanced, Community-Focused Solutions There’s no one-size-fits-all answer to housing. I believe in working closely with municipalities, developers, and residents to find balanced solutions that increase availability while preserving what makes our communities special.5. Cutting Red Tape Good projects shouldn’t get stuck in unnecessary bureaucracy. I’ll push for more efficient permitting and clearer processes so we can move housing projects forward faster—without sacrificing quality or local input.6. Long-Term Affordability We need to think beyond short-term fixes. I support strategies that ensure housing remains attainable over time, helping future generations put down roots and build their lives right here in Maine.

I support building new homes, redeveloping underused properties, and cutting unnecessary barriers that slow down good projects. By working with local communities, we can create housing that fits the character of our towns while ensuring long-term affordability for working families and future generations.

In Augusta, I’ll support policies that empower local businesses, strengthen our downtowns, and keep more of our dollars circulating locally—so our communities don’t just get by, they thrive.

Responsible Tax Relief Support targeted tax relief that puts more money back into the pockets of Maine residents without compromising essential services.3. Energy Affordability Promote solutions that lower heating and electricity costs, especially during Maine’s long winters.4. Increasing Market Competition Encourage policies that promote competition and transparency to help bring down prices across key industries.5. Supporting Local Production Invest in local agriculture, food systems, and small businesses to reduce reliance on costly imports and keep prices more stable.6. Smarter Government Spending Advocate for efficient, accountable use of taxpayer dollars to reduce waste and avoid unnecessary cost burdens on residents.

The fundamental need for affordability in our daily lives. Whether it is the rising cost of groceries or the lack of affordable housing, our neighbors are being squeezed from every side. In Augusta, I will fight to protect our essential services, expand housing options, and combat food insecurity to ensure our region remains a place where people can afford to live, work, and retire with dignity.

We are at a crossroads in Central Maine. With the recent closure at Northern Light Inland Hospital, 'access to healthcare' isn't just a talking point—it's an urgent crisis for our residents. No senior should fear a long drive for emergency care, and no working parent should have to choose between a paycheck and a doctor’s visit.
